POETICS OF THE INDIGENOUS IMAGINATION

Our ASU campus is situated on Akimel O’odham and Peeposh lands. This acknowledgement is a necessary part of the practices through which we engage our research, our study, and our imaginations within the university. This CIB initiative is committed to engaging our Indigenous and Native students on the ASU campus as well across our urban and reservation communities. We invite Indigenous artists, scholars, activists, storytellers and other thinkers and makers into our homelands, to talk about the most prescient issues in Indian Country today. This exchange is one of many ways we resist, thrive, and imagine in our desert.
